1967 Mustang GT 408 Fast Back Recreation

This is a must have unbelievable Shelby GT 408 Recreation complete rotisserie restoration that would be the envy of any mustang enthusian. This mustang has been professionally recreated both body and drive train.

Custom Built Exterior:

The body has been recreated with 1967 Shelby parts to include fiberglass nose cone, hood, side scoops & trunk lid. This vibrantly painted mustang colours are PPG “O So Orange” with Billet Silver Shelby Strips. Other noteable features include:

• Shaved door handles with auto pop door openers
• Power side windows, bullet mirrors
• Custom 17” (FOOSE Rims) three piece bollite
• Nitro 17” street radials tires
• New front and rear bumpers bought & re-chrome to “show chrome”
• Custom motor well “removed shock towers, custom radiator support
• All exterior chrome rebuilt, polished & re-cleared to include drip rails, front & back window chrome as well as side window chrome
• Global West sub frame connectors & AFCO traction bars

Custom Built Drive Train:

This mustang recreation also boasts a custom built blue printed & dino, 351 Windsor motor stroked out to 408 with 525 horses and 525 foot pounds of torque, Holly 4 barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake manifold, Hooker Headers, 3 inch exhaust, Holly mufflers, Ceramic coated exhaust system. There are so many other features that are a part of this restoration but just too many to list on this page. Well over 3000 hours of labour have been put into this Mustang which was truly a labour of love. Restoration was completed May of 2007, with less than 600 miles on the car to date. This Mustang had its first Car Show at The Calgary Mustang Presidential Show & Shine Last June where it won BEST OF SHOW & BEST IN CLASS.
