the stude has interesting features such as a new 302 ford engine that hasbeen bored .030 , new crank , new cam that has a 499 lift and 299 duration that still has 15 lbs engine vaccuum at idle. the engine has about 2700 miles since rebuild. the heads are edelbrock preformer with 2.02 -160 vavles and roller rockers , the intake manifold is a edelbrock victor jr , accel ignition, holley 680 street avenger,ford racing aluminum vavle covers,chrome alternator, aluminum radiator.runs cool and reliable.the trans is a c-6 automatic, the rear end is a ford nine inch with new 3.89 gears and has a little back lash noiseand i will deduct money from selling price for this problem. the bed is custom made from 1/8 inch steel ,as well as the custom made tail gate , the tailgate that has the original studebaker stamp. the rear fenders have been widend one inch and reversed for that custom look. the truck is viper red and has four coates of clear . the body work took about 600 hours and was all block sanded to get that show quality look. the bed has black walnut wood and stainless steel strips. the running boards are hand made fiber glass with studebaker logo, the steering is a straight axle that has new tie rod ends , nos draglink ,new vega steering box , the king pins have new bushings, the leaf springs have new neopreem bushings and shackels.the steering column is 69 mustang . the console is hand made fiberglass and has been molded to dash. the gauges are auto meter , the stereo is a pioneer dvd 50 watt system, the truck does not have a heater. the wheels are torq thrust 2 , 15 x 10 rear and 15 x 7 front , the tires are mickey thompson m-50-15 .contact for info at jmdavis@aol.com.
