Getting Phsyc’d Up

My original motivation for building this site was to reconnect with a childhood passion, muscle cars. That is still my main motivation; however, I do have a secondary motivation… My step-dad and I share a common passion… cars. He’s a Mopar man, and I’m a fan of anything that is fast enough to make your intestines dislocate your vertebrae. This site is a “convenient excuse” for us to get together and go check out the car show circuit.

Hey, family first, right? I love my dad and I’m looking forward to going around the Car Show circuit and checking out all the sweet rides with him. That is motivation enough for me to build this site and love every second of working on it.

Suit Up

And you thought I stopped caring about this site! LOL! I’m here and I’m ready to rock ‘n’ roll! I’ve been tied up with my day job as a web designer and my volunteer work, but I’m still here turning wrenches and getting ready for the 2007 Car Show season!

Pre-ignition Check

MuscleCarScene is built and is now on reliable hosting. All cylinders are firing and this ride is hooked up for a new season of Muscle Car enthusiasm.

Sizing Up The Competition

Beyond the other tasks I’ve been involved in, I’ve also been spending some time checking out the other Muscle Car websites. There are some good sites out there, but there are also some real Posers too. I’m seriously considering adding a Links section to this site that features some of the better sites I’ve seen on the ‘Net.

Ignition

Oooooh yeah! Hear that? That’s the sound of a finely tuned machine ready to shred some rubber and snap your neck against the head rest.

I’ve been analyzing the performance of this site and I’ve tuned and tweaked it to maximize your browsing pleasure. This Blog post is one of the additions that is designed to improve your browsing experience on this site. Instead of posting Announcements in the discussion forum, they will now be posted here.

Burn Out

Damn! I’ve been one busy mofo! Between the job, the family, and the volunteer work, I’ve barely had any time to relax. Fortunately, I’ve got this site, which in my mind, is smokin’! One of my greatest passions is cars and I enjoy every second I get to spend working on this site. Hell, there is only 3 things I like more than cars… Family, Sex and Coffee!

Here’s to a season of sweet Muscle Car action that will refill my fuel cells and get me away from this damn computer!

Post Burn Out Check

Hell yeah! We’re firing on all 8 and ready to go!

It’s been a long winter, but now the weather is getting warm and the rides are coming out. I can’t wait to see what you all have in store for the 2007 Season! Looking around town, it seems like there are a lot of people who are more than ready to start cruising and showing off their rides. I’m sure the Mid-Ohio Valley isn’t the only place that has some bitchin’ rides cruising around right about now.

Pulling Into Position

The adrenaline is coursing through my veins. The crew chief has given me the go ahead. The ride is tuned and ready for action. I’m hooked up and ready to pull a record setting run. This is what we have been waiting for. The 2007 season is here!
